About this Location
USO North Fort Hood opened its doors in 2010. Community leaders and USO supporters were in attendance of the ribbon cutting. This center is located in the North Fort Hood Cantonment Area just outside of Gatesville, TX. Coming in at approximately 5400 square feet.
This center is equipped with gaming stations, comfortable living room seating areas, big screen TV, well stocked snack bar, and pool tables.
Currently we are open four days a week. We support Mobilized Guard and Reservists who are training and confined to the Cantonment area. Our time with them is brief yet memorable. We see them before they deploy and see them when they return before travelling back to their home and family.
We find it a privilege and honor to serve these warrior citizens during their time here is Texas.
If you would like to volunteer at this center, please give us a call for more information or go to www.volunteers.uso.org and create a profile, we will contact you and invite you to the New Volunteer Orientation.
